Jonas and Elvyra, big lovers of Alanya who visited this place thrice in three years, decided to look for real property in Turkey already in 2005. “During the time, we travelled and saw a lot, since we looked for a place for rest and relaxation. We planned to spend our entire leisure time after retirement here”, tells Elvyra. “We looked for an apartment, since we felt tired of living in hotels, which were not as good as previously”.

 

Jonas and Elvyra applied to our company to enquire if we have anything suitable for them. The couple wanted an apartment close to the sea, with nice views over windows. They also wished that their real property is located close to city centre. The first apartment shown was too extensively surrounded by other houses, and they did not like the second one as well. The third apartment in Mahmutlar was just to their taste: two-storey, with an attic, just 5 minutes away from town centre on foot and 100 metres to the sea.

 

“After returning to our hotel, we talked it over and decided to repeatedly visit the selected apartment next day. I remember sleeping very anxiously that night, I awoke for several times and thought if our decision was truly right”, tells Elvyra. “But since we felt no pressure from our agents we examined the apartment again and became sure. We buy it.”

 

The couple returned to Lithuania and, after paying the initial contribution, patiently waited till all the permissions are obtained and all the documents are drawn. “When we arrived to Turkey again, there were many things to do and everywhere we received support from representatives of the company. They helped opening a bank account, followed us everywhere and helped communicating with Turkish bureaucrats.”

 

“After the final payment was made, it was difficult to get accustomed to the fact that we already have our own home somewhere far away from Lithuania, but now we feel very happy. Turkey is one of the best countries to have quiet rest after retirement”, says Elvyra.
